Our founding fathers created a government by the people, for the people. Somehow or other, we screwed it up. Granted, we have amended, tweaked and bent the constitution over the years to keep it current and relevant in our modern age…but when did we lose grasp of the fundamental principles of our founders- that government should serve the people, and not the other way around?
This blog is open to discussion of the men and women that created this nation, the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and where we have strayed from the path of righteousness. By remembering where we came from, perhaps we will be able to reconnect with the radical concept set forth by our ancestors: that government should serve the people, and not the other way around.
